This, then, is how you should pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name” -Matthew 6:9
This week as you walk, pray for God’s Name to be made Holy in every area of our city:
- In the Church-that God’s name would be made Holy by our love for Him and one another and as we serve as He serves (1 John 4:7-20, John 13:5)
- In Families-that God’s name would be made Holy by the way husbands and wives honor each other as well as parents and children (Ephesians 5)
- In Businesses-that God’s name would be made Holy through the integrity and generosity of business owners and employees (Colossians 3:23)
- In Education- that God’s name would be made Holy through truth being proclaimed in classrooms and as educators encourage students in their destinies (John 8:31-21, Proverbs 22:6)
- In Arts/Entertainment-that God’s name would be made Holy through the creativity and inspiration of the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:27, Exodus 31:1-5)
- In Government/Legal-that God’s name would be made Holy through just and merciful laws and decisions (James 2:13)
- In Healthcare-that God’s name would be made Holy as the sick are healed (Matthew 4:24)
