God’s Character: This week as we pray for our ministry partners serving across the earth take time to focus on who God is as a Good Shepherd-

• His Protection: I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort and protect me  -Psalm 23: 4
• His Provision: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want   -Psalm 23:1
• His Guidance: He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake   -Psalm 23:3

THANKSGIVING

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.    -Matthew 28: 18-20

Take time to thank God:

• That he has made the way for our salvation
• That he invites us to be part of the work He is doing in saving others
• For His promise to be with us always

CONFESSION/REPENTANCE

We can confess personal sins we have committed. We can also pray a prayer of corporate confession on behalf of a people/community (see Daniel 9). Take time to confess any areas of sin God brings to mind (personal or corporate) and ask Him to give us clean hands and pure hearts (Psalm 24).

• Jesus, we confess that we have not been faithful to ask you to send out workers into the harvest field. And we have not always heeded your commission to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything you have commanded. Please give us compassion for the lost and give us a willing heart to follow wherever you lead.

INTERCESSION

Pray for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done throughout the earth as it is in heaven.

Pray for our ministry partners serving all over the earth. Some have shared some specific ways you can be praying for their city/country.

PRAY FOR OUR PARTNERS SERVING THROUGHOUT THE WORLD:

• Pray the Gospel would be proclaimed in the heart language of every tribe, tongue and nation
• Pray the word of God would spread and the number of disciples would increase rapidly and they would become obedient to the faith   -Acts 6:7
• Pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you   -1 Thess 3:1
• The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.   -Matthew 9:37-38
