As Mission 1:27 gears up for another exciting summer at the Adventure Centers, we’re reaching out to invite you to be a part of our elementary age summer camp. We have six weeks of fun and learning planned for our students with an expanded day which will include wonderful fun trips, activities, and discipleship.
Every summer, we witness the unfortunate phenomenon of learning loss among our students, causing them to fall farther and farther behind their peers. However, with your help, we can make a real difference in combatting this trend and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically.
There are two ways to get involved – help us with summer supplies on our Amazon Wish Lists (see below) and/or volunteer in our summer camp. Whether you’re part of a youth group, a small community organization, a family, or an individual looking to give back, we welcome you to join our efforts.
Level Up Volunteer Needs:
- Time Slots: Two-hour commitments, one or more days throughout the summer
- Activities: Assisting with educational games, reading sessions, arts & crafts, and outdoor activities
