StoneBridge is excited to partner with Lockheed Elementary and Backpack Buddies to help make sure no child goes hungry when they are home for the weekend. Through this partnership, we will provide 150 students with breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Saturdays and Sundays throughout the school year. There are two simple ways you can be part of this ministry:
- Wednesdays — Pick Up Food
Each Wednesday, we need a group of volunteers to pick up the food for the backpacks from the Backpack Buddies warehouse in Dunwoody and bring it to Lockheed Elementary. - Thursdays — Pack Backpacks
Each Thursday, we need volunteers at Lockheed Elementary to help pack the food into backpacks. These backpacks will then be given to students as they leave school on Friday afternoon.
