Is helping those in poverty how you “Do Your Deal”?

StoneBridge Church is blessed to minister to those living in poverty through our Acts 6 benevolence ministry. The skyrocketing numbers of people struggling to survive is an opportunity for us to be Jesus to hundreds of people in need. Volunteers are needed to help process the requests, pray for our visitors and show loving kindness.

Acts 6 provides assistance in obtaining birth certificates which can lead to getting permanent identification – and that opens the door for more opportunities. In addition, clients can apply for financial assistance for rental assistance, utilities, housing deposits, and other critical needs.

Open Monday – Thursday, 10-noon in the library of the church lobby, a dedicated group of volunteers, under the direction of Courtney Schreer, is changing lives. And guess what? The meaningful outreach is changing the lives of the volunteers, too.

If you would like to “remember the poor” (Gal. 2:10), please emailĀ courtney@stonebridgemarietta.org. Join the volunteers growing in grace, mercy, service and fellowship through Acts 6.
