We can be like the older brother in Luke 15 and lose sight of our adoption into God's family and all that means for us as sons and daughters. Ask God to bring that revelation more fully to your heart- that you aren't a slave, but part of His family. One way we can do this is engage our heart in cultivating devotion to Him.
