NICOLE WEBER – school counselor at Sawyer Road Elementary School
She has worked in the Cobb County School District and Marietta City Schools for 20 years. She was named the national school counselor of the year in 2012 by the American School Counselor Association.
She lives in Marietta with her husband Jesse, her children Lily Drew (10) and Luke (8) and their therapy dog, Luna.

ANNA KENNEDY – Founder & Lead Therapist, Elevate Counseling + Coaching Co-President, Eating Disorder Information Network (EDIN)
Anna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor with a strong background in clinical care, leadership, and mental health advocacy. Anna founded Elevate Counseling + Coaching in 2018.
She has experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused approaches, and integrates leadership and wellness coaching into her clinical work. A few of her specialties are anxiety, adolescent therapy, eating disorders, sports performance, and maternal mental health.
As Co-President of EDIN, Anna leads efforts to equip educators, coaches, counselors, and healthcare professionals with tools to recognize eating disorders, support mental health, and build environments where those struggling feel seen, understood, and respected.
JOSH WATERS – Drama Teacher at Marietta Sixth Grade Academy
Josh is a graduate of CCCEPA at Pebblebrook and has a BFA from The Theatre School, DePaul University in Chicago. He has performed on stage & screen from New York to Los Angeles. He has performed at I.O. West, Second City, The Improv, and Radio City Music Hall. Josh’s favorite credits include The O.C., House, Bravo’s The IT Factor L.A., Remember the Daze, and Carolina. As a member of Theatre Phoenix, Josh taught improv and storytelling to inner city youth in Los Angeles for many years.
Josh is the drama teacher at Marietta Sixth Grade Academy. Josh has taught performance classes with Due West Center for the Arts, Bravo Dance Company, and City Springs Theatre. Josh was seen as a guest star on one of the final episodes of the Peabody Award-winning series Rectify. Josh was awarded the honor of Outstanding New Employee at MSGA for 2019 and received the Mayor’s BE SOMEBODY Award in 2020. At The Junior Theatre Festival in 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Freddie G Fellowship.
He was named the 2024-25 Teacher of the Year for Marietta Sixth Grade Academy. Josh has been named a BEST OF COBB winner five times by the Marietta Daily Journal and Cobb Life Magazine. Josh is married to his high school sweetheart, Nicole, and they have two sons, Ethan (22) and Nolan (13).
