As a church, we currently support seventeen individuals and families who are engaged in full-time ministry locally and around the world. Find out more about everyone we support HERE.
This summer we were able to hear from several of our partners living overseas who were here for a visit. If you missed them or want more information on how to support the work they are doing, please read more below.
Romania: The Winkle Family
The Winkles spent nearly 10 years living overseas, but came back to the US in 2014 to finish the adoption of their youngest child. At that time they discovered their son Micah had cancer. Once he beat cancer they knew they wanted to use what they had experienced to encourage, bless, and walk along side others going through difficult seasons. They are moving to Romania where they will use the wisdom they've gained to support others in full-time ministry.

Germany: Ben and Cristina Hartman
The Hartman Family serve with Greater Europe Mission (GEM) and have been living and serving in Kandern, Germany since July 2018. Kandern is in southwest Germany and their ministry is with both Germans and Muslims. Ben has a passion for sharing Christ in the workplace with like-minded co-workers in Switzerland which historically has been harder to get missionaries into and the cost of living is very high. Cristina works primarily with refugee woman and children through one-on-one visits and in a cafe setting using Biblical storytelling. They also live in community with German friends and neighbors sharing God's truth with them. Connect with the Hartmans at cristina.hartman@gemission.org.

Montenegro: Cory and Jessie
In Eastern Europe, in the small country of Montenegro, many families are struggling to get by and with inflation that struggle has gotten worse. One of our Ministry Partner families, Cory and Jessie German, are working with Cru Montenegro to run a local food bank called Nova Nit. The goal of Nova Nit is to help those families in need receive staple food items and hygiene products. By working with local grocery stores and two community gardens, they are able to buy the products at discounted rates and provide fresh produce. Their goal is to provide the needed packages to at least 50 families each month for around €30 ($32.50) per package.
Cory and Jessie would love to share more about this ministry and how you can be a part of it. They would also love to talk with anyone who has had experience with running a food bank. You can make a donation at give.cru.org/1238182 or you can contact Cory at cory.german@cru.org.

Asia Minor: Justin and Elizabeth
Justin and Elizabeth left for the field in 2007 with the idea that a long hard work lay ahead of them. They learned language and culture in a large city and then continued to follow His call to an unreached area further east. For most of their friends and neighbors they are the first foreigners that they’ve ever met, let alone Jesus followers. Justin and Elizabeth seek to remove as many barriers to the Gospel as possible by living and working in a contextual way. They lead a small team that includes one other family. Together, the team runs a coffee roastery and cafe. Running a local business gives the team access to loads of folks at different levels- from the guys at the tax office to employees to customers. They also are very active in community groups, sports clubs, local schools, and basically wherever people are Justin and Elizabeth join them! Hearts are very hard in this region and the team is committed to tilling the hard soil through prayer, love, and lots and lots of time spent sharing seeds of truth over a nice fresh cup of coffee.

Asia Minor: Josh and Mandy
Josh and Mandy have been serving in Asia minor since 2013. After leaving the US as a newly married couple, they are now a family of five. From the beginning, their ministry has been focused on church planting and serving in the local church. What started as a tiny meeting of one or two people has grown over the years into a community of people who love Jesus. They ultimately feel that they have been called to a discipleship ministry in the likes of John the Baptist and their heart has been to see local leaders increase as they decrease. They can be reached at harvharb@gmail.com.
