The Lemon Street Classic Basketball Tournament is serving as a catalyst for change in our community. The tournament was established to honor the legacy of those who graduated from the Lemon Street School (the only school for minorities during school segregation. The last graduating class was in 1966 before integrating with Marietta High School). The tournament also showcases the talents of participating students on a national level.
