One of our anchors as a church is to be conformed to the image of Jesus. We are conformed both through refining (removal of elements in our character that don't look like Jesus) and through training (strengthening the traits of Jesus we have been given by the Holy Spirit).
We want to cooperate with the work God is doing in us to conform us.
