Support for the Falls
Many of you know Chris and Amy Fall who have been part of the StoneBridge Family for over 13 years now.  Last year Chris was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and began undergoing treatment. The cancer is no longer in his esophagus but is now stage 4 esophageal cancer that has metastasized to his liver.

In the midst of bi-weekly chemo treatments they have been dealing with the strain of medical bills.  They did not have insurance coverage during the first round of chemo from Jan-March and now owe approximately $40k.  Chris was approved for SSI in April of 2020 and received medicaid that has been covering his treatment 100% since April.  However, SSI is now stating that he should not have received SSI and they want the SSI money back. He will no longer be covered by medicaid.  With a change in insurance they will have to find a new doctor and pay the annual deductible (approximately $8500) starting in March of this year.

As a way to support the Falls through this difficult time, a family from StoneBridge set up a fund for them through Helping Hands. All gifts will go directly to help them with their medical bills and living expenses. If you would like to make a contribution to the fund, you can donate at the link below. Please be sure to select “Christopher Fall” under the “I want to support” field to make sure donations are sent to the Falls. All gifts are tax deductible.

We are praying and believing with them for miraculous healing as well as financial provision, to find a new doctor that they are compatible with, and that Amy can go to appointments with Chris as his caregiver. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. If you have any questions please reach out to kim@stonebridgemarietta.org.
