There Were No Needs Among Them

In Acts 4 we read that the believers were of one heart and mind and that there were no needs among them because they shared all that they had. During this time especially we want to make sure that everyone is taken care of. If you would like to help meet a need please click below to let us know how you can help.

Provide for a Need

Meals for MCS Students

The Marietta City School  System will be delivering breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday to children at 81 stops across the city because they do not want lack of transportation to keep our students from eating, and eating daily. From March 16 through April 3, they have served 65,580 meals. And they need help from the community to keep it going!

They are operating three meal prep sites: Marietta High School, Marietta Middle School, and Marietta Sixth Grade Academy.

New CDC guidelines call for volunteers to wear a face mask at all times while in the workplace; homemade cloth face coverings are allowed. Please bring a face mask/covering with you for all assignments. Please watch this video tutorial on how to carefully wear and remove—and especially to put it back on the same side if you take it off.

The Table on Delk
To help meet the needs of those they serve, The Table has come alongside Marietta City Schools to distribute sack lunches Monday-Friday afternoons.  The pre-assembled bags should be delivered to The Table between 1-2pm. They need 60 each day (300 each week).
The decorated lunch bags should contain:

  • peanut butter and jelly sandwich
  • bag of chips
  • granola/cereal bar
  • fruit cup/applesauce
  • fruit snacks/gummies
  • juice box

The recipients really enjoy the encouragement and decorations on the bags – sometimes it’s the only positive thing they see or hear that day.

Dwell Apartment Ministry
Russell and Megan are delivering packets to families to help students with homework-things like books, pencils, notebooks and construction paper. They would also love to give out coloring and activity books and crayons. Supplies are being delivered to students when the bus comes to deliver free lunches. If you have extra school supplies or want to order some new supplies to donate you can reach out to Megan at

MUST Food Distribution
MUST Ministries is coordinating with the Cobb and Cherokee County school systems along with the City of Marietta schools to ensure that children who receive free or reduced meals during the school year do not go hungry during the coronavirus shutdown.  They need a lot of help to achieve this goal. They will be distributing a box of pre-selected non-perishable food items that can feed a family of four for two weeks.  You can assemble the boxes at home and drop them off at  MUST’s Distribution Center located at 1207 Field Parkway, Marietta. VIew the pre-selected food items HERE
