Table on Delk Volunteer Spots

The Table on Delk was started by Scott and Tina Williford to minister to women and children who are currently, or at risk of being, sexually exploited. They started by opening their doors on Saturdays to provide a meal, a warm and loving environment and offer hope to the women and children living in the motels on Delk Road. They now have ministry opportunities almost every day of the week-offering everything from Bible Studies to homework help. As their ministry has grown, so has the need for volunteers. Here are a few of the ways you can help:

  • Things you can do at home: Cook/bake (they need 10 different meals each week and 10 dozen desserts), decorate placemats (they need 50-60 each week), write encouraging notes to the ladies who are incarcerated, assemble snack bags for Study Hall kids (they need 40 each week), put together gift bags for first time guests, and of course pray (prayer guides are available)
  • Opportunities at The Table: outreaches to the motels, tutors and snack helpers for study hall, serve food and wash dishes, play with the children and hold the babies, love and listen to the ladies, clean (when guests aren’t there)

If you’d like to learn more or explore different ways that you can get involved, please contact Tina at And you can check out their Facebook page and Instagram for live action videos taken during ministry times.
