Congratulations: Mayor’s Award

Dec 19, 2018 | 0 comments

As a church, our vision is to see our community transformed by God. We believe that happens as more and more people are conformed into the image of Jesus and are led by the Spirit in living out the good works God created them for in the area He has planted them.

At the inaugural Mayor’s Award ceremony on Tuesday night several members of the StoneBridge family were recognized and celebrated for their work in making our Marietta schools special, different and better. Awards were given to one student, staff member and community volunteer from each school who invest their time and energy and go above and beyond in the impact they have at the schools.

We want to congratulate the StoneBridge recipients of this award for the role they are playing in the work God is doing in our community.

David Eldridge received the Birney Award, given to community volunteers, on behalf of StoneBridge for all of the time and investment our church has made at Park Street Elementary.

Sarah Martin also received this award for all of her hard work at the Marietta Sixth Grade Academy.

Two of our students were also recognized for the character and leadership they display at their schools. Congratulations to Eli Owen for receiving this award for MSGA and Charlie Collins who was the recipient for Hickory Hills Elementary School.
