Engaging at Park Street

We have been Partners in Education with Park Street Elementary for the past seven years and believe this partnership is one step we can take in seeing our community transformed by God. Our hope is to help support the staff, build relationships with the students, and connect with the families. There are several different opportunities to get involved right now:

Soccer: This fall we have been invited back to run the soccer program at Park Street Elementary and have been working hard preparing for games this season. Our first game is scheduled for Friday, October 12 from 4:00-5:00pm at the school. We are just missing one thing-a team to play. We still need a team of at least seven boys to challenge the Panthers. If you have a male soccer player in 3rd-5th grade we would love to have him on the team. If your child is able to play that day please contact Kim Kremer at kim@stonebridgemarietta.org.

Fall Festival: On Saturday, October 13 we will be partnering with the PTA at Park Street Elementary to put on a Fall Festival from 10:00am-1:00pm for the students and their families. We need a lot of help and support to help make this event happen. There are several ways you can get involved with the festival-everything from games to crafts to face painting. We have two shifts available from 9:30-11:30 and 11:30-1:30. Please click here to sign up to help.

Snacks for Soccer: Last fall we were invited to partner with Soccer in the Streets and Atlanta United to launch a soccer program for the students there.  We are excited to begin another season this fall. Practices are on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-5pm through  November 16th.  The students are working hard and we would like to help provide snacks for them. If you can help bring a snack one or more of the days please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0e45a8ae23aa8-soccer1 .
