Acts 6 Volunteers

Nov 7, 2017 | 0 comments

The Acts 6 ministry helps people in our community (not just church members) get birth certificates, Georgia IDs or driver’s licenses, prescriptions, bus passes, supplies, drinks and snacks, referrals to area service providers (like MUST Ministries and Cobb Senior Services), encouragement, and prayers.  In addition, Acts 6 provides limited assistance with rent, utilities, and emergency housing, often in partnership with other churches around the Marietta Square.  Team members serve Monday through Thursday mornings from 10am to noon in the foyer and coffee area at our 176 Roswell Street sanctuary building.

Acts 6 services are supported by general and designated gifts to the Benevolence Fund, which allows the ministry to help about 3,000 people each year, as well as by your prayers for the Acts 6 ministry, our team members, partner churches, and community agencies and initiatives to assist the needy in Marietta and Cobb County.

For more information or to volunteer one on more days (currently the most help is needed on Tuesdays), please contact Richard Wannall (770-597-0854 or or Steve Egan (770-425-1775 or
